Marby F. Blanchard, 62, of Concord, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at home. Marby was born January 18, 1950 in Manchester, daughter of Harold B. Fosher and Marjorie Meara Fosher. After living in Bedford and Nashua, the Foshers moved to Bow in 1958. Marby was a member of the last class to graduate from the “old” Bow School, and graduated from Concord High School in 1968. While in high school Marby was active in dramatics, both in acting and costume-making, and worked as an apprentice at a summer theater for two seasons. Marby graduated cum laude in English from Harvard in 1972. During college she was active in the Radcliffe Choral Society. In 1970 she married Richard O. Blanchard, of Concord, who predeceased her.After her graduation, Marby worked at Philbrook Center, New Hampshire Hospital, until 1987, with a half-year break in 1979 for a trip with her husband to North Africa, Southern Europe, England and Ireland.
