BROOKE A. FORAN Brooke A. (Sanford) Foran, 62, of Nashua, New Hampshire, wife of David J. Foran, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Brooke was born on January 9, 1952, a daughter of the late Joyce R. (Mann) and William J. Sanford. Educated in local schools, Brooke was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1970. The ocean was her sanctuary. Brooke lived a life of gratitude and battled a long illness with courage and grace. She enjoyed the love of a large family and was blessed with a granddaughter who brought her great joy. She remains an inspiration to us all. Brooke is survived by her loving family including her husband David J. Foran of Nashua; a son Ken Cadrain of Wilton; a daughter, Georgia (Cadrain) Dougherty and her husband Garrett Dougherty of Nashua; a granddaughter, Ella Dougherty; four sisters, Sandy Machell of Hollis, Patti Schwendeman of Amherst, Liz Crittenden of Hollis and Susan Tobin of Brookline; three brothers-in-law, John Machell, Dan Schwendeman and Jim Crittenden; two nieces, Cameron Machell and Kelly Schwendeman; and five nephews, Sanford and Bradley Crittenden, James and Miles Tobin, and Colton Machell. “May there always be a shell in your pocket and sand between your toes.” SERVICES: All services will be private. Goffstown– Simone Y. (Cote) Fournier, 91, died March 30, 2014 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Manchester on May 4, 1922 the daughter of Henry J. and Roseanna (Guillemette) Cote. Prior to being a homemaker she worked for Hillsborough County Nursing Home as a seamstress for 8 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger L. Fournier on November 23, 2000 and a sister, Rita Cote. Family members include 3 daughters; Lucille Huard and her husband, Roger of Manchester, Sylvia Ouellette and her husband, Gil of Bedford, Elaine Brassard and her husband, Jean of Bow, 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 brother; Arthur H. Cote of Daytona Beach, FL., 3 sisters; Rita Plamondon of Georgia, Theresa Bilodeau and her husband, Armand of Port Richey, FL., and Grace Duggan of Largo, FL.. Londonderry, NH — Charles J. “Chip” Horwath, 72, of Londonderry, NH, died Saturday, March 1, 2014, in the Greenbriar Terrace, Nashua, NH. Chip was born in Allentown, PA, on November 29, 1941, a son of the late Charles and Claire (Flammer) Horwath. He was a graduate of Liberty High School, later graduating from Moravian College, both in Bethleham, PA. He earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Chip served with the U.S. Coast Guard from 1959 to 1965. He retired in 1996 from FHA/HUD where he worked as a real estate appraiser. As a hobby, he enjoyed everything about working on cars.

Emily Irene Cyr, 13, of Londonderry, NH passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 25, 2000 in Manchester, NH a daughter of Richard R. Cyr and Corenne (Innie) Holguin. Emily fought a courageous battle against a lifelong illness. Emily is survived by her mother, Corenne, her father, Richard, two brothers, David and Alexander, one sister, Nina, paternal grandparents, Regina Dwyer and William Cyr, maternal grandfather, James Innie Jr, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Irene P. Innie. A Liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. Shirley grew up and was educated in Andover and North Andover, MA and graduated from North Andover High School. She retired from Parlex in Methuen, MA. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Salem Senior Center. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and puzzles. She was predeceased by her son Darrin Rodger.
